Sandblasting with corundum

Sandblasting with corundum is mainly performed when there is a need to clean a surface from debris, paint residues or oxidation, or to soften marks and scratches. This is a mechanic treatment performed by a projection of corundum as an abrasive. Thanks to the hardness of corundum and to the great variety of grains available for this purpose, we can achieve any rugosity from a polished surface, to a great rugosity. For the subsequent application of Teflon on metal pieces, we will provide an Rz of 1 to 3 microns, arriving to an Rz of 8 microns when needed.
